HIGH‐LEVEL SOFTWARE SYNTHESIS
1993
High-Level Software Synthesis (HLSS) is an advanced model-based, product-line-oriented software development process being developed by the Software Productivity Consortium (Consortium). The HLSS process is based upon thorough requirements- and design-level validation through the use of models that can predict important properties of the software to be built. The HLSS process is designed to enable an organization to produce members of an embedded system product line at reduced cost, with higher quality, and more rapidly than conventional software production methods.
