A composition applicable topically for clearance or skin depigmentation comprising in the range of 0.00005% to 0.5% of a compound which is an inhibitor of ATPase K + / H + Type I, the compound being selected from group consisting of SCH 28080 (2-methyl-8- (phenylmethoxy) imidazo (1,2a) pyridine-3-acetonitrile) and SCH 32651 (3-amino-2-methyl-8-fenilmetoxiimidazo [1,2a] pyrazine) . Y; a compound of sunscreen; said composition topically applicable formulated into a topically applicable cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable vehicle, carrier or diluent.
