Universal assemblies are widely used in manufacture. These devices determine the performance and quality of technological operations in metal-cutting machines. To ensure the strength and rigidity of such devices, numerical and experimental studies have been carried out for assemblies from a set of universal prefabricated devices. To simulate the micromechanical properties of the roughness layer, elastic pads are placed between the contact elements. In the course of the research the laws of deformation of adaptations were established taking into account the contact interaction with base plates. Pressure sensitive films are used to determine the distribution of contact pressure. The conditions are determined when the deformation conditions of prefabricated devices are changed. Also conditions were defined for devices elements combination with the base plate.
