Photovoltaic (PV) systems without battery have been considered to provide unsettled output because of irradiance fluctuation. Therefor, power sources value of PV systems be become aware as low power sources as against conventional power plants. However, areally-distributed PV systems can expect to up power sources. Since the change in the regional total of solar irradiance is tend to be smaller than that in one-point solar irradiance on account of the geographical diversity. In this paper, the estimation method of areal solar irradiance are described. By the estimation method, areal power generating characteristics are estimated. In addition, evaluation for power sources of PV systems is presented. (author)
