Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of Tobacco Mosaic Virus

1979
Mobile carbons of isotopically enriched Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) and its protein are observed by normal and Convolution Difference (CD) 90.5 13C FT NMR. RNA binding to protein-disks or uptake of protons by a carboxylcage in protein-rods broadens the main part of the resonances beyond detection due to subunit immobilization.
