Large area, broadband, and polarization-sensitive photodetectors based on aligned carbon nanotubes

We have studied the photoresponse of highly aligned carbon nanotube devices in the visible, near-infrared, and mid-infrared. Using different metal combinations for electrodes, we designed detectors that work up to 10 μm under global illumination.
