The embodiment of the invention provides a pig body temperature monitoring method and device. The method includes the steps of obtaining body surface temperatures measured by a temperature sensor arranged on the body surface of a pig at timed intervals, conducting temperature correction on the obtained body surface temperatures so as to obtain the target body surface temperature, and determining the rectal temperature corresponding to the target body surface temperature according to the relation between the body surface temperatures of the pig and the rectal temperature of the pig. The pig body temperature can be easily, conveniently and safely monitored in real time.
