PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing apparatus and a video processing method capable of adjusting a video output clock such that video output timing in frame reception may be always constant.SOLUTION: When fragmented data obtained by fragmenting a frame is received via a network, the apparatus acquires the numerical values of the number of samples and the number of lines in a frame being output, and controls a video output clock on the basis of the numerical values and the reference values of the number of samples and the number of lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
