1D/2D Co(II) coordination polymers: magnetic properties and application values on the ischemic myocardial infarction by regulating the JAK signaling pathway

2021
In this present research, two coordination polymers (CPs) containing Co(II) with solvent induced structural diversity are created by the reaction between 5-tert-butylbenzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid (5-tert-H2IPA) and Co(NO3)2·6H2O in the existence of a nitrogen-donor co-ligand N,N′-bis(3-pyridyl)terephthalamide (L), and for the as-synthesized CPs, their chemical formulae are {[Co(L)1.5(5-tert-IPA)(H2O)2]·2.5H2O}n (1) and {[Co(L)(5-tert-IPA)(CH3OH)]·2CH3OH}n (2). The magnetic performances of two synthesized compounds reveal antiferromagnetic coupling between consecutive metal ions. Their assessment of treatment effect on the ischemic myocardial infarction was conducted, and the specific mechanism was explored. Firstly, the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection kit was employed and the inflammatory cytokines levels released into plasma was determined. Furthermore, the activation for the JAK/STAT signaling pathway was detected employing real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay.
