An initial research on the structure and function of the wild and farmed carp oropharyngeal cavity palate

In this paper,the differences of morphology in the wild and farmed carp oropharyngeal cavity palate were recorded by the SONY DSC-F717 digital cameras and the changes of the farmed carp cigarette cavity palate were also recorded by the external stimulation.Meanwhile,KYKY-1000B scanning electron microscope and OLYMPUS DP70 biological microscope were used to observe the structure of carp oropharyngeal cavity palate.The results showed that the wild carp palate of oropharyngeal cavity with dense comb-like processes,and the farmed carp palate of oropharyngeal cavity was smooth and flat.Under mechanical stimulation of oropharyngeal cavity,the muscles of the palate can be a strong contraction forming with the wild carp comb-like structure similar to cone-shaped protrusions.Compared with the wild carp,the farmed carp palate of oropharyngeal cavity taste buds and mucous cell density decreased.
