Study on the space-time variation law of forest fires in the Ningde region

The space-time variation law of forest fires distribution is analyzed based on Ningde’s forest fire statistics of from 2002 to 2009.The results showed that in yearly scale,forest fires had a significant variance.There were a close connection between forest fire hazard and climate changes.Forest fires are mainly occurred in winter and spring in Ningde,especially from October to next April.February and March are the peak fire season.Noons are the peak time of fire outbreak in a day.The main fire sources are caused by agriculture productive(account for 58%) and nonproductive activities(account for 41%,Mainly is smoke cigarette and visit grave).
