Search for P and P,T-noninvariant internucleon interaction in 169Tm nucleus by Mössbauer polarimetry

The setting up of an experiment to measure the P-odd and P,T-odd polarization of gamma-radiation emitted upon the Mossbauer (+3/2–+1/2) transition of a deformed 169Tm nucleus with an energy of 8.4 keV by means of gamma-optics is discussed. The expected accuracy of measuring the relative magnitude of the P,T-odd contribution is ~0.1% of the magnitude of ordinary nucleon–nucleon interaction.
