Evaluating the effect of meteorological parameters (humidity, temperature, wind speed and pressure) on the dust phenomenon - Case study: Kermanshah,Iran (2008-2012)

2016
Meteorological parameters such as humidity, temperature, wind speed, and pressure could have effective on the dust phenomenon. The aim of this study is evaluating the effect of meteorological parameters (humidity, temperature, wind speed, and pressure) on dust phenomenon in Kermanshah city during 2008-2010 as a case study. For conducting this study, the data, which related to the PM10 particle concentration and meteorological parameters during 2008- 2013,have collected from related organization. The correlations between mentioned data have evaluated by SPSS software. The results showed that the reason of dust concentration reduction in relative humidity is the increased of the air relative humidity and caused the precipitation phenomenon, the act of washing and dust descent. The increased of the dry temperature caused the air dryness, decreased the air humidity, and increased the acceptance of dust in the air. In addition,it could have said that the increase of the wind speed caused the particles move from one place to another and reduce its tropical loses. At the time of air pressure increase, the possibility of the precipitation become more and a high air pressure caused air turbulence, dust moved, and transmission. © 2016,International Journal of Pharmacy and Technology.
