• A STUDY ON PROPAGATION OF LOVE WAVES IN MICRO-ISOTROPIC, MICRO-ELASTIC LAYERED MEDIA

I n this article the Love wave propagation in a micro-isotropic, micro-elastic solid lying under another micro-isotropic, micro-elastic layer is studied. We found some additional waves which are not found in the classical theory of elasticity. The classical and micropolar results corresponding to this problem are obtained as particular cases.
