Strategies and Actions of Chinese Academy of Sciences

The coping strategies of Chinese Academy of Sciences are to strengthen interdisciplinary research to meet the national needs in resource environment and sustainable development, adjust and optimize the institutional arrangements of Chinese Academy of Sciences in terms of performance evaluation, institute construction, and cross-disciplinary cooperation, accelerate the development of theories, methodology, and technical platform in regional development at the Chinese Academy of Sciences to enhance the global competitiveness of its regional development research team, and build up “Simulation and Decision Support System for Regional Sustainable Development in China” through the combination of long-term research plans and short-term research projects.
