Preparation, surface structure and properties for conductive fibers of akund-(Polypyrrole/AgNPs)n with multilayer self-assembly structure

2021
Abstract Using natural fibers akund as a template, single conductive akund-polypyrrole (akund-PPy) fibers with porous surface structure and double-conductive akund-(PPy/AgNPs)n fibers with multilayer structure were in-situ synthesized. The conductivity of the fibers increases with the number of layers for both conductive fibers, and the conductivity of akund-(PPy/AgNPs)n fibers is tens of times higher than that of (akund-PPy)n fibers. The relationship between the conductive properties and the surface structure and the possible conductive mechanism of the fibers are probed. In addition, comparison of the conductive properties of the conductive fibers prepared with different natural fibers as templates showed that akund was superior to the others.
