Paired recordings with Neuropixel probes and patch-clamp: a ground truth dataset and an experiment in collaboration and publication.

This is a poster on recording simultaneously from the same cortical neuron using patch-clamp and Neuropixel probes. The objective is to obtain ground-truth data for these new probes and thereby help researchers develop improved spike-sorting algorithms customised for the dense layout of recording sites on Neuropixel probes. As of February 2018, data has been acquired and is in the process of being curated in order to be made freely and publicly available for download. More information will be provided as we progress.
