Process for securisation of a service for the control of motor vehicles through mobile devices

The invention relates to a control service allowing an owner of a motor vehicle equipped with a mobile terminal (20) to access at least one functionality of the motor vehicle (10) by means of the mobile terminal, said service being operated to using a server (50) wherein are stored records associating, with each identifier of an automotive vehicle, information relating to the vehicle owner, the owner information. According to the invention, the method comprises the steps of: - receiving by the server a request to change the information recorded in a recording, - looking for a record in the server associated with the request, - reading contact information owner recorded in this recording, and sending to the owner of a validation request message of said application, - in case of reception of a message from the owner validating the request, said change registration.
