Synthesis and electrochemical characteristics of a donor–acceptor porphyrinate rotor mounted on a naphthalocyaninato europium complex

Abstract A heteroleptic porphyrinate phthalocyaninate donor–acceptor europium double-decker complex was synthesized. The UV–Vis spectral properties and cyclic voltammetry of the compound were investigated and compared to model compounds.
