The composition comprises the following components in terms of oxide by weight: 55 to 65 wt% of SiO2, 5 to 14 wt% of Al2O3, 5 to 10 wt% of B2O3, 1 to 4 wt% of MgO, 5 to 8 wt% of CaO, 8 to 14 wt% of Na2O and 0 to 3 wt% of BaO; meanwhile, the composition also comprises 1 to 2 wt% of a clarifying agent. The aluminoborosilicate glass provided by the invention has the advantages of low thermal expansion coefficient, high mechanical strength, high light transmittance, good heat resistance and moisture resistance, and applicability to preparation of the light guide plate.
