Twisted Bilayer Dielectric Photonic Crystal Slabs

We design twisted bilayer photonic crystal slabs that introduce Moire flat-bands and localized modes. The flat-bands have a quality factor of 106 and a high density-of-states of 0.967 THz−1m−2.
