LE PETIT PROPHÈTE. LEONARDO LESSIO SJ TRA CONTROVERSIE TEOLOGICHE E SANTITÀ (1554-1623)

2014
The thesis concerns Leonardus Lessius SJ (1554-1623), who was a theologian in the Jesuit College of Leuven. Known especially for his moral and economical theory on usury, Lessius wrote a lot of books on different matters. Because of his doctrine of the grace, he was charged with pelagianism by the theologians of the Faculty of theology of the University of Leuven. A beatification process began in the XVII century, but without success.
