Development of "Fujifilm Xerographic Photopaper" for a New Multi-Use Xerographic Copy Machine with Digital Photo Print Capability

A new-type xerographic photo paper has been developed, which gives a photo print with a high gloss surface, high image quality, high tolerance to print handling and excellent storage characteristics mainly by virtue of a new fusing device mounted in a new multi-use xerographic copy machine. The print has highly glossy / smooth surface as if it looks like water surface, image quality almost comparable to that of AgX photo print, and has high tolerance to print bending and folding together with high resistances to moisture, water, light and various gases. These performances have been achieved by three kind of layers built in the new-type xerographic photo paper.
