Behavior modification with outpatients in a community mental health center

Abstract This paper describes the use of behavior modification with outpatients in a community mental health center. The philosophy of the center is to be accountable, while behaviorally oriented and community oriented. The structure of the outpatient service of the center is described along with the functions of the various divisions. Data are presented showing the success of the service, which is attributed to the use of behavior modification techniques.
