The invention provides a small remote-control light-sensation gene stimulating device and a control method of the small remote-control light-sensation gene stimulating device. The small remote-control light-sensation gene stimulating device comprises a central processing unit, a radio frequency module, a switch driving circuit, a digital potentiometer, an automatic power control circuit, an excitement light source, a photosensitive diode, a voltage stabilizing module and a power source. The radio frequency module receives an external instruction and transmits the external instruction to the central processing unit, the switch driving circuit controls the excitement light source to be turned on and turned off to form light pulses, the digital potentiometer changes the static working current of the photosensitive diode to accordingly control the initial power of the excitement light source, the photosensitive diode receives light output by the excitement light source and converts the light into a light current, and the light current is fed back to the automatic power control circuit for feedback adjustment on the outlet light power to achieve stable output. The small remote-control light-sensation gene stimulating device has the advantages of being low in power consumption, small in size, high in stability, convenient to control, wide in application range and rapid in adjustment, is suitable for light-sensation gene experiments, fills in the blank of wearable light-sensation gene stimulating devices in the light gene field, and has the wide market prospects.
