Research of the Intelligent Splint for Medicine on Ramie Fiber Composite Material

With the “ecological consciousness” awakening of people, the natural fibers are very popular owing to their advantages such as environmental protection, low cost, easy to get and low density, and are used widely in the research and development about medical products. So, using natural fibers to make medical splint will also become a research hotspot. This paper introduces the research status of the medical splint and the characteristics of ramie fiber composite materials, and put forward the viewpoint of using ramie fiber composite materials to make medical splint and making it be intelligent. It has significance meaning for the further research of the intelligent splint for medicine on ramie fiber composite material.
