UMA PROPOSTA DE INDICADORES PARA GERENCIAMENTO DE PRAZO E CUSTO EM PROJETOS DE TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMAÇÃO

Cost and time management are areas that deserve attention in an information technology (IT) project. In this work, we present two new indicators based on statistical metric R2, which use historical information, collected from the project beginning. We conducted a case study where the proposed indicators were considered useful and preferable to traditional indicators. We sought to compare the traditional indicators used in projects, Time Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index(CPI), with the Statistical Indicator of Time (IEP) and the Statistical Indicator of Cost (IEC). The results indicated that the SPI and CPI indicators bring to user an instant information, it does not take into account past information. The proposed indicators, IEC and EPO use information from project beginning to the date in which the information is necessary, i.e., do not use volatile memory.
