According to the invention a process for producing a fiber-reinforced hollow-profile component (1) is provided, the method comprising the steps of: - establishing negative pressure in a closed molding stage (114) of a by a vacuum film (112) bounded by the molding space (113) in which a forming structure (20) is situated, wherein in said forming section (114) has a fiber layer (2) is located, wherein the forming structure (20) having a shaping inner core (21) consisting of a foam core part (22) and a along a fiber layer the longitudinal direction (L2) extending, and the foam core portion (22) in the fibrous layer-circumferential direction (U2 ) at least partially enclosing and (at this adjacent release film 23) is formed, - by generation of negative pressure in the shaping section (114) introducing matrix material through a supply port (118) in said forming section (114), - by applying a temperature in a predetermined temperature range for a predetermined period of time curing of the matrix material and thereby forming a one component interior (IR) defining component wall (4) with a matrix material layer (3) containing the fiber layer (2) . - removing at least the foam core portion (22) from the component interior (IR).
