Conceptualising and Investigating the Gendered Consequences of Modernity in Britain and Hong Kong

Part of the impetus behind this project was our shared discontent with the Eurocentrism of much of the existing work on families and relationships—at least that considered more mainstream—and in particular a neglect of East Asia.
