Construção de aviário móvel ecológico de baixo custo em quilombo de São Lourenço do Sul/RS

In contrast to conventional systems, organic poultry farming takes advantage of the local biodiversity of an agroecosystem for its own benefit. The objective of the work was to build a low cost mobile aviary, encouraging the implementation of ecologically based poultry in a quilombo in the interior of Sao Lourenco do Sul - RS. To ensure the low cost and mobility of the structure, it was built using resources available locally, such as bamboo and Santa Fe grass. The aviary was built in shed roof and with 2.13 m² of area, besides having cover with Santa-Fe grass. The use of this model of aviary in regions with intense winds regime requires adaptations that increase its resistance. The ready structure was moved to a place protected from the wind and, based on the new aspirations of the residents of the quilombo, it was adapted for the creation of goats, which use it for night shelter.
