Abstract Lycopene, a natural carotenoid, has potential chemopreventive effects in many cancers. This study aimed to examine the effects of lycopene on regulating the inflammation and apoptosis of N-nitrosomethylbenzylamine(NMBzA) induced esophageal cancer in F344 rats.
