STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHARACTERISTICS OF LEVEL ANOMALY DEFORMATION AND THE EARTHQUAKE IN URUMQI DEFORMATION STATION

It is analyzed the anomalous characteristics of vertical deformation data recorded by Urumqi deformation stations before and after the Ms≥7.9 earthquake in Russia,China and Inner Mongolia on September 27,2003 and the Ms5.9 earthquake in Turks on July 20,2007,and the results show that the deformation data have good reflecting earthquake ability for earthquakes with Ms5~6 in nearby Urumqi and in middle-west of north Tianshan.The deformation characteristics appeared as low-value anomaly-normal-abrupt anomaly-earthquake occurrence.
