Escola do futuro: perspetiva dos alunos de 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico School of the future: students' perspective of 1st Cycle of Basic Education

Este artigo pretende (re)pensar a Escola face aos desafios da contemporaneidade, ressaltando a mudanca e a inovacao como o caminho a trilhar para a sua (re)invencao. Entendemos que, para encontrar as respostas a estes desafios, e necessario auscultar os alunos sobre a Escola do Futuro, tendo por base os seguintes objetivos: i) perceber como os alunos perspetivam a Escola do Futuro; ii) coligir um conjunto de contributos de suporte a sua transformacao. Trata-se de uma investigacao de natureza qualitativa que envolve uma abordagem naturalista e interpretativa, onde se utilizou como recolha de dados a observacao participante e a analise documental. No total, o projeto envolveu 90 criancas e 5 professores. Os dados recolhidos permitiram concluir que a Escola tem de ser objeto de uma (re)formulacao atendendo aos desafios da atualidade. We understand that, in order to find the answers to these challenges, it is necessary to listen to the students about the School of the Future, based on the following objectives: i) to understand how the students are prospective of the School of the Future; ii) collect a set of support contributions to its transformation. It is an investigation of a qualitative nature that involves a naturalistic and interpretative approach, in which participant observation and documentary analysis were used as data collection. In total, the project involved 90 children and 5 teachers. The collected data allowed to conclude that the School has to be object of a (re) formulation taking into account the current challenges.
