Risky Sexual Behaviour and Associated Factors among Students in Robe Technical Vocational Educational Training College, Oromia Regional State, South East Ethiopia

Background: Risky sexual behavior is any behavior such as having multiple sexual partners, inconsistent use of condom, Sex with casual sex or commercial sex worker, and substance use. Currently studying sexual behavior of youth is important to realize the existing gap as youth are at risk of contracting STI including HIV/AIDS and their related consequence. Objective: To determine magnitude of risky sexual behavior and associated factors among Students in Robe Technical Vocational Educational Training College in Robe town, Bale zone, Oromia regional state, Ethiopia, 2018. Methods: Institutional based cross-sectional study was conducted from March-April 2018. A total of 345 students were selected using stratified sampling technique. The data were collected using structured, pretested, and self-administered questionnaire. Data were entered using Epi data version 3.1 and analyzed by SPSS version 20 statistical software. Descriptive statistics, binary and multivariable regression analysis was used to determine the associated factors.
