The invention provides a method for freely regulating rotation speed of an indoor wind wheel of an air conditioner. An electric-control component of an indoor unit is controlled by a remote control, the electric-control component controls rotation speed of a motor and accordingly rotation speed of the wind wheel is controlled, lowest rotation speed and highest rotation speed, corresponding to the wind wheel and rotation speeds in a plurality of different grades between the lowest rotation speed and the highest rotation speed are set for the electric-control component, and switching among different grades is controlled by buttons of the remote control. The characteristics of humanization are utilized and considered fully, the rotation speeds of a plurality of different grades between the highest rotation speed and the lowest rotation speed are set for a user to select, switching of different rotation speeds can be achieved by the remote control, the rotation speeds are convenient to control, comfort of the air conditioner is improved greatly, and coordination of air quantity and noise can be more adapted by the air conditioner for the user. Not any part needs to be added, and updating needs to be performed to control software only.
