The present invention relates to a conversion element (1) for at least partial conversion of short-wave pump radiation (4) for converting radiation (5, 6) of longer wavelength, for which the conversion element (1) comprises a first conversion element (7) for emitting long wavelength conversion radiation (6) and constructed a second conversion element (8) for emitting medium wave conversion radiation (5), wherein between the two conversion bodies (7, 8) a band rejection filter (10) is arranged, in transmission of the short wavelength pump radiation (4) and the long-wavelength conversion radiation (6) is, from the second conversion body (8) but at least partially reflected emitted in the direction of the first conversion body (7) middle wavelength conversion light (5) to prevent reabsorption thereof in the first conversion body (7).
