Vector Control of High-Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Improved Sliding Mode Observer

In order to solve the chattering problem of sliding mode observer in rotor position detection of High-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor, an improved sliding mode observer for position detection of High-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed. Taking the sigmoid function as the switching function, the adaptive sliding mode gain related to the rotor speed is introduced, and the rotor flux estimation including the rotor position and speed information is derived. In order to eliminate the high frequency chattering in the rotor flux estimation, a rotor flux observer is designed. Finally, the rotor position and speed information is extracted by phase-locked loop. Simulink simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.
