A WiMAX-based Emergency Communication Framework with Optimized Scheme for Distribution Network

Distribution system is the "nerve ending" in the smart grid and it guarantees the safe and stable operation of the power network.How to build an emergency communication system in the distribution network is an important issue.This paper first analyzes the characteristics of the emergency communication system in distribution system.Based on the rapid and flexible deployment,seamless coverage,high reliable transmission and self-organization requirements,we propose an emergency communication system framework for distribution network based on WiMAX technology.Several optimized schemes for the implementation of WiMAX in emergency communication system are then proposed,providing technical support for the following device development and network building.
