History of Medical Exchange between China and Japan in Song and Yuan Dynasties

This study concentrated on the works of Japanese scholar Kosoto,Makoto,Mori and investigated on the medical books that were introduced into Japan.It discussed the exchange of Chinese medicinal herbs between two countries and the influence of tea after being brought to Japan.The origin and production time of the existing acupuncture bronze figure in Japan were also analyzed.During this period,it was the first time that the return and published records of the Chinese lost books appeared.After the absorption from medical achievements of Song and Yuan Dynasties,the Japanese compiled three important medical books during the Kamakura period,laid a solid foundation for the flourishing of Japanese Kanpou medicine.
