Modulators of IL32.

A method of screening for a modulator of activity of interleukin 32 (IL-32) based on the binding of IL-32 to proteinase 3 (PR-3), comprising determining binding of IL-32 to PR-3 in presence of a candidate modulator, comparing the level of said binding to the level of binding of IL-32 to PR-3 in the absence of said candidate modulator, and selecting a capable modulator inhibiting or enhancing said binding, wherein the activity of IL32 is at least one selected from induction of MIP-2, induction of TNF, and induction of IL-8.
