NARRATIVE IDENTITY IN THE DEAF POPULATION The narrative thinking is “telling stories of oneself, for oneself and others.” In telling these stories are going to construct a meaning with which experiences make sense. In this paper we address the narrative from the perspective of the deaf population. Deaf people are linguistic and cultural communities in which they are brought into play behaviors and visual languages.
