α-Galactosides Enzyme preparation pigs

2006
α-Galactosides is very abundant in legume seeds meal, which is the most widely utilized protein source in husbandry animals. It is thought that α-galactosides, mainly referred as raffinose and stachyose, have some antinutritional effects on growth performance, nutrients utilization and dige sta processing rate through the intestine of animals. Some researchers have used the relative enzyme preparation-α-galactosidase to reduce the antinutritional effects resulted from α-galactosides. This paper summarized the recent development of α-galactosides antinutritional effects and the dietary α-galacto sidase supplementation effects in animal production.
