The measurement and comparative analysis of the electrical and thermal conductivities, permeability and Young's modulus of sintered nickel
1988
Abstract The electrical conductivity (σ), the thermal conductivity (λ), the permeability (μ) and the Young's modulus ( Y ) are given as functions of the volume fractions for a series of sintered nickel samples. It is shown that σ, λ and μ data can all be fitted to a single equation with the same two morphology parameters ƒ c (a critical volume fraction) and t (an exponent) and separate bulk values for σ Ni , λ Ni and μ Ni . The Y data is fitted with the same value of ƒ c but a different t .
