Role of the vegetable-barley-tobacco mode in sustainable development of flue-cured tobacco

According to the results of continuous investigation and analysis to implement the vegetable-barley-tobacco mode in Tonghai County of Yunnan in 2006 and 2007,the vegetable-barley-tobacco mode not only could increase by 2.81 % of the flue-cured tobacco yield,higher 3.97 percent points of first-class and second-class tobacco and raise 9.29 % of production value of flue-cured tobacco,but also display the good expansion application foreground in aspects of saving cost and increase the effect,improvement soil physics and chemistry environment,excellent distribution of the soil microorganism and protection the farmland ecosystem environment.Particularly,with the extension of application time,it would more obviously display in sustainable development of flue-cured tobacco.
