The importance of efficient ventilation systems of animal houses is often underestimated during the winter season and this may result in a serious limitation to high efficiencies of production and good health of farmed livestock. Poor ventilation may lead to high levels of gaseous pollutants as well as to increased moisture content of the house air and condensation on internal surfaces.
