Readers Weigh Journal's New Look

2016
blocks that bleed into the body copy make reading the Journal difficult for colorblind readers. Because the majority of people affected by colorblindness are male, I wonder if some readers are having difficulty with this aspect of the new design. They're used to missing out on sidebar text, but missing the end of every sentence, as on page 135 of the January issue, can be very frustrating. I admit that although I found the overlapping blocks attractive when I was leafing through the magazine, they were distracting for me too when I read the text (and my vision is fine). Thank you, though, for the new format. Overall, it's a big hit! Lisa M. Tripoli Pennsylvania-American Water Company Norristown, Pa.
