Predicted spectra of very highly charged ions in the vicinity of the neon and nickel isoelectronic sequences

1988
Abstract The n = 3 to n = 2 transitions of sodium-like and magnesium-like ions are long-wavelength satellites of neon-like resonance lines. It was already demonstrated that the mean wavelength and width of these arrays are adequately described by the UTA formalism and the relativistic parametric potential method. Predictions are now given for eight elements (In, Te, Nd, Dy, Ta, Au, Th and U) in the sodium and magnesium isoelectronic sequences. The same methods are used for predicting the copper- and zinc-like satellites of the nickel-like resonance lines in thorium (Th LXII, LXI) and uranium (U LXIV, LXIII)
