Toolbox para el Análisis Discriminante en Curvas

We use an extension of traditional method of Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) to data sets where the predictor variables are curves or functions. The technique is called Functional Linear Discriminant Analysis (FLDA) and is very useful when only fragments of the curves are observed. Using this method we developed in MATLAB a toolbox for discriminant analysis of functional data and cluster analysis that allows easy application of the technique. The application has facilities for reading and handling multiple formats, parameters (input and output) of the methods and interpretation of results (graphing options.) It shows a real data application of the tool.
