The Brief Case: Klebsiella variicola—Identifying the Misidentified

A 72-year-old Japanese male with a history of colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver and peritoneum presented to the emergency department with fever and abdominal pain and was subsequently found to have Gram-negative bacteremia. The patient had undergone numerous chemotherapy treatment
