Pin-power prediction applying heterogeneous and homogeneous global parameter values

Abstract Three local pin-power models are described and tested on a quarter-core of a BWR. The calculation of the accuracy of the models is dependent upon the accuracy with which the global 3-D coarse-mesh code calculates the values of boundary fluxes and average nodal powers.
